Born on the 1st of January 1998 in Lusaka, Zambia, Enock Mwepu is a Zambian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder in Brighton & Hive Albion (BHA). 

Having begun his career in his native Zambia, Mwepu signed for Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg in 2017 before moving to join Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion in 2021. Mwepu represented and captained the Zambia national team.
On 6 July 2021, he joined Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion on a four-year contract, for an undisclosed fee.

Enock is a boy’s name of Hebrew origin, meaning  “Experienced, Dedicated, Profound” This unique name was also born by a leading figure in the Torah; Enock was the son of Jared, the father of Methuselah, and the great-grandfather of Noah. Enock Mwepu has been forced to end his playing career following the diagnosis of a hereditary heart condition. During the recent international break, Mwepu, 24, felt ill while on a flight to join the Zambian squad. He stayed in a hospital in Mali before returning to Brighton to undergo more cardiac tests and care, which revealed the diagnosis.
